Here’s the bass I use. It is a Dean Edge 4. I don’t really know much about bass guitars though so I basically just bought this one for recording purposes and to teach myself. It has served me well though.

I have been trying to learn how to play slap and fingerstyle, but years of playing guitar with a pick has made it pretty hard to learn. So I mostly play with a pick.

It still works out though because I like the sound of playing with a pick for my style of music. The thing I have learn about bass playing is that it is a lot more sensitive than playing a heavily distorted guitar. So many small things, like picking position, slides, and picking consistency have a much bigger effect on your bass guitar sound than it would for playing metal rhythm guitar.
