The Fender Stratocaster
I also have a Fender Stratocaster that I don’t really play too much. It is a nice guitar but It is pretty hard to play. It still has it’s uses because it sounds so much different from my other guitars.
I’ve used this one for some leads and clean stuff for a change of pace. It is completely stock. The finish is baby blue.
I usually keep this one tuned to Eb to play Yngwie songs from time to time. It doesn’t hold tune to well because of the non-locking bridge.
Hi mate, one question. What do you mean with “it is pretty hard to play”? I´m a beginer and i think about buying a Gibson SG, or Epiphone SG. What whould you recommend me. Thak you
@Homer
Sure, well it has smaller frets than other guitars I am used to. That’s the main thing. Personally of course I’d suggest an SG for you. They are lighter, smaller, and in my opinion more comfortably shaped than Les Pauls. And of course the double cutaway makes hitting the higher frets a lot easier.
Hey, umm you reply to Homer helped me out a bit but i was wondering what would be better for me as a beginner. A Epiphone Sg goth or the Ephiphone Les paul goth. Thanks.
@Josh
Sure man sounds good. They both are pretty similar guitars in my opinion. I think there might be some differences between the pickups and some cosmetic stuff.
Don’t like fender because the neck is very thick I’m gettng a Ibanez rg3exfm1 is the fixed bridge good cause my axl has a weird bridge I really hate but sounds great which sucks limit is no more than 400 what would recommend?
@Jason
I haven’t tried that Ibanez. I’d say first decide which kind of bridge you like. If you like a fixed bridge, consider going for a Les Paul, SG, or some other kind of guitar with the two-part bridge like those guitars. Otherwise, if you want a Floyd Rose, personally I prefer Ibanez.
