@minu They are both pretty close but the SG is a small bit heavier, but it's so little that you'd probably not even notice it until you specifically compare them.

I have a question, is the sg lighter than a regular fender strat? in terms of weight ?

@Jason I haven't tried that Ibanez. I'd say first decide which kind of bridge you like. If you like a fixed bridge, consider going for a Les Paul, SG, or some other kind of guitar with the two-part bridge like those guitars. Otherwise, if you want a Floyd Rose, personally I prefer Ibanez.

Don’t like fender because the neck is very thick I’m gettng a Ibanez rg3exfm1 is the fixed bridge good cause my axl has a weird bridge I really hate but sounds great which sucks limit is no more than 400 what would recommend?

@Josh Sure man sounds good. They both are pretty similar guitars in my opinion. I think there might be some differences between the pickups and some cosmetic stuff.

@Homer Sure, well it has smaller frets than other guitars I am used to. That's the main thing. Personally of course I'd suggest an SG for you. They are lighter, smaller, and in my opinion more comfortably shaped than Les Pauls. And of course the double cutaway makes hitting the higher frets a lot easier.
