Here’s a fast one this time. There are a lot of weird rhythms and some harmonies in this song. It’s very thrash oriented and of course my influences are very noticeable.

I was working on the fast riffs for a while. It was one of those kinds of riffs where you always tend to play it when you pick up the guitar, so I decided to use it in a song. As for the melodies, it was mostly pretty improvised and thrown together, but it turned out just the way I wanted it to. For the ending solos, I wanted to go for something harmonic minor. And as for the outro, I just wanted something heavy to send you out with a bang. I suppose I was going for a feeling inspired by the song name!

This song is all about overkill, such as using a gun for an operation! Here’s a video of the song:

    Nice. I can clearly hear your influences! Testament blended with some slayer and maybe even some cannibal corpse. Basically a WIN. =)

    Waw nice!

    At some point iit reminds me of the Hammer Smashed face intro.

    This is metal and brutal. I want to hear more of it!

    Keep on blowing our minds, dude.

    @Michael
    Thanks! Not sure why all of my stuff sounds like Slayer, heheh.

    Very Slayer-like, dude :D

    Though… as constructive criticism, I feel that the tone’s… kinda muddy.
    Just a though :I
    But hell, I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with!! : )

    Thanks, glad you liked the preview! I hope to have the final version up soon. Yeah, I recorded this one and the other ones with very little knowledge of recording. After a few more of these with this tone, I will have a (hopefully) improved sound using some new techniques I’ve been writing about in my recording articles. Hopefully it will sound better! :D
